So much depends on effect teamwork these days. Organisations that wish to retain a competitive advantage need teams that don’t just work well, but they need teams that exceed expectations and deliver results faster.
This course will provide delegates with a better understanding of team dynamics, and the essentials of leading and managing a team. It will focus on the needs of the individuals within the team, and on the process of team development. Most importantly, it will identify the roles and responsibilities of the team leader/manager in keeping the team on track, and functioning effectively.
It is recommended for anyone who is an aspiring or new team leader - whether your goal is to manage a team in the future, or whether you have been leading a team for a while - this introductory course will help give you the confidence to handle the ups and downs of teamwork and to ensure that your team is working to its full potential.
Psychometric Test
In addition to the face-to-face element of the training, we also offer an optional psychometric test, which can be completed on-line as a self-assessment or as a 360 degree appraisal of the 70 Team Working Competencies that have been determined to under-pin effective team working performance. Whist it is entirely optional, the assessment is extremely useful for enhancing self-awareness and for providing a focus for on-going learning and development. The test can be completed at any time, and includes a comprehensive printed report for future reference.
