Any manager will agree that people management has its own challenges… but in today's fast-moving business environment, work has become more remote and more flexible, with people often working from a number of different sites. This presents a new set of challenges, with organisations requiring improved management processes and managers needing to develop new competencies and strategies.

Managing people remotely requires the ability to generate and maintain a sense of team purpose and trust, even when regular meetings with are difficult or impossible to arrange.

This is a practical and intensive course that will show managers how to succeed in the new virtual working environment – specifically how to build and maintain trust with the team; how to share and clarify overall purpose and expectations; and how to fully utilise the communication channels open to them.
